Vouglans

When it was created in 1968, the Lac de Vouglans became the 3rd biggest artificial lake of France. To store such a great quantity of water, an enormous dam was built. This impressive construction of 420 metres long is relatively thin (about 6 metres). During vigipirate periods the dam cannot be visited but it can be admired from the belvedere on the way to Lect.
